Our latest mobile solutions use Wi-Fi Miracast™ capabilities to liberate videos, photos and web content from smartphones and tablets onto larger screens, such as TVs. Based on the industry's Wi-Fi Direct peer-to-peer standard, Miracast capabilities enables simple and secure connections directly between devices – instead of connecting through a router or access point.

When deployed on Qualcomm’s LTE enabled platforms, Qualcomm Atheros connectivity solutions enable proprietary co-existence and collaboration techniques – including circuit level optimization and advanced algorithms to enable maximum performance of WLAN, Bluetooth and LTE connections. Qualcomm Atheros AP Mode Connectivity

With our AP Mode connectivity, a smartphone or other mobile CE device can instantly and securely share the Internet data connection with up to ten Wi-Fi enabled devices such as PCs, eBooks and tablets.

Qualcomm® IZat™ Location Solutions

Featured in over 1 billion mobile devices, Qualcomm IZat location solutions provide always-on positioning capabilities with unmatched accuracy and minimal impact on battery life. The end-to-end Qualcomm IZat platform augments satellite-based measurements with cellular, Wi-Fi and sensor positioning techniques, and leverages an array of cloud-based assistance servers to provide a superior location experience. Qualcomm IZat GNSS chipsets are integrated into Qualcomm’s MSM, MDM and APQ platforms, and also sold as discrete SoCs to support a wide variety of device architectures.
