Qualcomm® VIVE™ Wi-Fi Technologies

VIVE solutions also use Wi-Fi Miracast™ to liberate videos, presentations, photos and web content from notebooks onto TVs and other large screens. Based on the industry's peer-to-peer standard, Miracast enables simple and secure connections directly between computers, projectors, and other Wi-Fi devices – instead of connecting through a router or access point.
Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth Technology
Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth technology gives notebook and netbook platforms short-range or personal area network connectivity to a multitude of Bluetooth-enabled devices. It brings added convenience to the mobile computing experience with wireless connections to keyboards, mice, headsets and printers. Qualcomm IZat™ Location Technology
IZat location solutions provide always-on positioning capabilities with unmatched accuracy and minimal impact on battery life. The end-to-end platform augments satellite-based measurements with cellular, Wi-Fi and sensor positioning techniques, and leverages an array of cloud-based assistance servers to provide a superior location experience. IZat GNSS chipsets are integrated into Qualcomm’s MSM, MDM and APQ platforms, and also sold as discrete SoCs to support a wide variety of device architectures.
